Many people take piano lessons, attend dance classes, and go to sport practices to develop a new skill. But, most people never actually learn how to sing because they assume they either have a good voice or a bad voice without even giving themselves a chance to learn.

Fun fact: Everyone has a voice! A built-in instrument that is unique to you, so who’s to say it’s good or bad? Why not learn how to sing your favorite song? Why not develop an essential part of you?

Wouldn’t that be cool? Even fun?

Growing up, most of my singing training was copying Taylor Swift in my bedroom, which didn’t prove too effective when I started singing in college. For years I felt like I would never measure up to my peers or those in the professional world, so I constantly worried about what others thought of my voice as if it was somehow connected to what they thought of me as a person.

I missed the whole point of singing.

Connection. Expression. Growth. And a lot of other amazing things too!

Once I began to understand this, my world changed. Learning to sing from a place of growth and excitement taught me to approach all aspects of life that way. Singing taught me how to handle failure and embrace new things. Most of all it taught me to be confident in myself and stop putting limits on my capacity for life.

If I can do it, anyone can.

Now it is my pleasure and mission to help others, no matter their age, ability, or experience, unlock their voice and develop it into a powerful tool for human connection and expression. Plus, you’ll expand your vision of what you’re capable of doing with your life, and who doesn’t want that?
